No.1 Shakespeare St. is situated only a stones throw away from Shakespeare's Birthplace in the heart of Stratford upon Avon. We are a contemporary bar, set over 2 floors, in a beautiful former Methodist Chapel.

Since opening the doors seven years ago, we have quickly become the toast of the town, with a passion for good service, food, cocktails & entertainment. We have everything you need for a great time, all under one roof!

The ground floor is the main bar area where you will be greeted with a smile, on every occasion. Our friendly staff will ready to serve you from our wide selection of drinks, or tempt you with a mouth-watering dish from our freshly prepared menu. Here you can simply relax and sample one or more of our sumptuous cocktails made by our expert mixologists, at the bar, or in one of our luxurious booths or seated areas, situated at either side of the bar.
