The Barley Mow Rock n Roll Cabaret Bordello is situated adjacent to the pub itself, in our carpark, next to our microbrewery. It facilitates the opportunity to host fabulous evenings of entertainment, whilst remaining safe for visitors, in a post COVID lockdown landscape. Its warm and very red. We have seating for 50 guests, until further relaxation of social distancing rules. There is a fully licenced bar, and waited table service. The pub itself serves amazing food, and you could book to eat, and then continue over to the Bordello for the event. Its a warm and welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, all we ask is that our neighbours are respected and that guests leave quietly.. :)

The Barley Mow pub is a much loved and well regarded freehouse...situated in the beautiful and picturesque Peak District village of Bonsall. It is over 200 yrs old. The village has many well run B&B / Guest House / holiday lets, and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. Come for a weekend and get the full Barley Mow experience :)

Music Policy: A wide range of genres, and always excellent examples of the genre.

Ambiance: Warm, sumptuous, red and gold hues...atmospheric and inviting... like a little cabaret club.

Clientele: Varied... but cool.

Drinks served: Ale - from our own onsite brewery as well as other local ales - Thornbridge is a staple... lagers, spirits, cocktails, wine from local award winning merchants, soft drinks. Tea and coffee if we have to :)

Disabled facilities: None. Sorry! Very old pub / steps to toilets.

Dress code: Dressed. We do very much appreciate an effort though and flamboyance is positively encouraged.

Opening hours: Varied. Pub has different hours to the Bordello. However live music finishes no later than 11pm.

Food served: Only in the main building - the pub itself. You can book to eat in the pub prior to the event in the Bordello.

Parking: Limited at the pub, but parking on The Dale itself (very sensibly!) and there is a large and free carpark a 5min walk from the pub itself... next to the park / recreation ground which is opposite The Fountain Tea Rooms in Bonsall.
