Back in 2008 Liverpool's clubbing scene was very much dominated by a handful of big parties, as smaller shows lived underneath with few lasting longer than a year. One clubnight would help pave the way for the vibrancy that sees many differing promotional voices contribute to one of the UK's strongest rave hotspots.

That party was mUmU, bringing a modern Balearic vibe to Liverpool with a focus on day time vibes augmented by uncompromisingly underground house and techno line ups. Next year will see mUmU notch up eight years, doffing their cap to the same formula which has ensured they've been so well loved over that tenure.

Mathias Kaden will play live and VJ, joined by Fuse stalwarts Enzo Siragusa and Rossko, Gregor Thresher (hear him live above), Dale Howard and a DJ who has been with mUmU since they began, Circoloco's Clive Henry. mUmU residents Lee Rands and Henry St Social also join the fun, which will start at 4pm in New Bird St Warehouse on Saturday 30th January.
