Taking place at Manchester's newest underground house music venue - Underland, the Unity Radio and Skiddle Dance Weekend sees some of Manchester biggest names in old skool head up a blistering night of dance floor madness. Fittingly entitled 'Long Live Legends', the Dance Weekend will see some of the most important faces of house music in the city soundtrack an almighty rave down memory lane.

Heading the line up is Unity Radio resident and rave icon Stu Allan (above). Having become one of the most prominent DJing figures in the UK, his long standing residency on radio station Key 103 saw him him unleash hip hop, house and even hardcore techno that had never been done before, which in turn bore a significant influence on the Manchester scene. Now a veritable legend in his own right, Stu Allan continues to enjoy a busy schedule which sees him deploy his unparalleled old skool sensibilities across the UK.

He will be joined by fellow veteran Mark XTC, whose pioneering of drum n bass and jungle has seen him become of the scene's most enduring figures. His skill as an old skool DJ too is without question, check out his above mix for evidence of that. Fash & Nick Hussey and Shaun Lever round off a banging room one.

Room two will feature a comprehensive soul and r&b line up, with Si Forestiero, Leaky Fresh, Bizzy B and Mark One all primed to bring the smoothest of vibes to the Manchester crowd.
