One of the country's most promising new bands, To Kill A King will play Metropolis Live on Thursday 10th August as part of their series of free monthly showcases in collaboration with Clash Magazine.

Taking place in Metropolis' Studio A, where artists including Noel Gallagher and Adele have recorded, the show will be live streamed by Skiddle.

To Kill A King have made a name for themselves with their raucous live shows, having sold out The Borderline, Oslo, and Omeara they head out on a European tour this September following the release of their acoustic EP The Good Old Days this month.

Joining them will be hotly tipped indie four piece Misfires, who recently supported The Sherlocks on their sell out tour and have drawn comparisons with the likes of Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Having previously seen performances from the likes of Nimmo, The Orwells and Ten Fe, Metropolis Live is a great way to discover the best up and coming artists.
