SMIRNOFF® RAISES THE CURTAIN TO REINVENT THE NIGHT OUT WITH A TASTE OF ELECTRIFYING CABARET

Summer 2006 will see the launch of Smirnoff & the Electric Cabaret – an exhilarating new concept in nightlife that stands for an eclectic mix of original entertainment and is set to re-invent the night out.  Having begun the season in Ibiza’s trendiest haunt Es Vive, where better to bring the Smirnoff & The Electric Cabaret excitement before its global roll-out than to the very heart of Birmingham’s entertainment district.

Smirnoff & the Electric Cabaret are mixing up high energy talent, including some acts from the renowned Medium Rare Cabaret show to host this first exclusive event.  Compered by Mike Fielding, fresh from the surreally hip stage and TV comedy ‘The Mighty Boosh’, Smirnoff & the Electric Cabaret will take place at Birmingham’s Walkabout Bar, 240 Broad Street on August 12th 2006, at 8pm.

Set to grace the stage is a series of original acts including Adora Girls – the captivating burlesque-inspired dance group redefining femininity for the 21st century.  Birmingham star and one quarter of the infamous Cuban Brothers, Russ Holborough (aka DJ Different Strokes) will be one to watch on the night - putting his trademark twist to old-school vinyl,  in ways only he knows how, all mixed up with an array of amazing entertainment.

Whether it is marvelling at the passion in each performance, or engaging with the unique talent provided, the night will take the crowd on an exciting journey of self-expression and enjoyment.
