Reading Festival weekend tickets sold out yesterday, leaving a small number of Sunday day tickets available for the iconic rock festival. Now the only way to experience the full festival is to go to Leeds, and today there was a raft of announcements detailing further stages at the events.

Now in its sixth year, BBC Introducing once again bring the very best in emerging talent from across the UK to the Festivals, providing a powerful platform for up-and-coming artists with bands including Daughter, Don Broco, Everything Everything and Pulled Apart by Horses making their Reading & Leeds Festival debuts on the Stage.

This year the artists include Huw Stephens’ top tip for success, Nottingham quintent Amber, and As Elephants Are, Big Wave, and many, many more. Leeds Festival also welcome the return of the influential and innovative local record label Dance To The Radio who will be taking over the BBC Introducing Stage on Thursday 22nd August.

There further announcements across the festival as well, with Childhood, who have supported Palma Violets and have been compared to Stone Roses, House of Love and Primal Scream, live dance trio Benin City and Rudimental collaborators Bipolar Sunshine.

All the acts will be joining the likes of Eminem, Green Day, Byffy Clyro and Skrillex at this year’s event, which looks set to be bigger and better than all preceding raucous occasions at Reaidng and Leeds.
