Responding to last week's TMZ report, which discussed the late star's alleged use of highly addictive painkiller Percocet, Prince's lawyer L. Londell McMillan told Associate Press that in fact 'he said he was doing perfect'. And while he admitted that Prince did take medication from time to time, he was “not on any drugs that would be any cause for concern.”

“Everybody who knows Prince knows he wasn’t walking around drugged up... That’s foolish. No one ever saw Prince and said, ‘He looks high.’ It wasn’t what he was about.”

The autopsy results will be released in a matter of weeks.

The world has been in mourning since the sad news broke on Thursday last week, with tributes pouring in from across the globe (watch D'Angelo's tribute above), whilst enormous album sales from millions of fans have seen his back catalogue dominate the charts and screenings of Purple Rain have been scheduled in Manchester, Liverpool and London.
