A bastion of unparalleled techno selectors take a pit stop at Electric Brixton on Saturday 8th November as part of Paco Osuna's extensive tour launching his new album Long Play.
If raw stripped back techno is your thing, then this billing will have you wrapped around its little finger. Paco Osuna will undoubtedly spin a selection of techno slabs from the new album (we've thrown one in below) amongst a myriad of other driving minimal cuts designed to send shockwaves throughout the capital.
Invited along as a special guest is Paul Ritch, a man who's emerged from the underground and absolutely made this summer his own appearing all over the joint from Loco Dice's Used and Abused to the techno temple that is Cocoon Ibiza.
Matador has achieved similar feats, grabbing a residency at Ibiza's ENTER., and it's obvious to see why as it's unlikely that you'll come across a Richie Hawtin tracklist without finding one of Matador's scintillating productions nestled in there. He remains as one of the techno genres elitist figures, confirming that of late with a masterfully put together 'Matador Versions EP' below.
Keeping the ball rolling with a tantalising live set is Egbert, the Dutchman's live sets have gone from strength to strength combining spirited servings of house and techno bled straight from the underground whilst Alexi Delano plunges back into similar territory as his predecessors with some forward thinking minimalism and dark vivacious techno.
