El Diablos' Easter fun with Crazy P Soundsystem

This Easter weekend there's an abundance of options for you to get your teeth into, not least in Manchester. One such party that grabbed our attention from the off was news of El Diablos Social Club setting sail, their disco ship mimicking their voyages on the Adriatic seas in the rainy Metropolis.

El Diablos' boat parties are the stuff of legend, so its no surprise that when they announced they would be taking to the high seas (ok, Manchester canals) with the Crazy P Soundsystem tickets flew out. All gone in 48 hours in fact. Luckily for those who didn't manage to grab one there's an afterparty for all the landlubbers that missed out, Good Friday witnessing them take the afterparty to Underdog.

There they will be bringing the funk as only they know how, five hours of cross genre brilliance skittering between house, disco, funk, soul and all the bits in between. Their residents will go offer against the Crazy P (watch their joyous Boiler Room set above) ensemble for the kind of soundclash that makes perfect sense in a sweaty Manchester basement as it does on a sunny Croatian Beach.
