Faris Badwan's project Cat's Eyes managed to gatecrash a Buckingham Palace event under the guise of a renaissance ensemble.
The unassuming guests at a private art talk thought they were being exposed to renaissance and baroque era compositions only to be outfoxed by Badwan and italian-Canadian Sporano Rachel Zeffira performing their new song 'We'll Be Waiting' (watch the footage below).
We'd have much preferred the bunch of history buffs to be sozzled by The Horrors in their infancy, although you have to give them credit for their infiltration of woodwind induced debauchery...
They release new album Treasure House on Friday 3rd June.
