Review of The Glorious Garden Party - Family Friendly!
I booked 10 tick*ts for this event. We were all looking forward to it. Half the group had travelled from Birmingham. We arrived at 1:30pm. We had a few beers which were extremely expensive (3 for £12). We all had ice creams at £1.50 each which we thought was ok priced. However we were all extremely disappointed ... Our group consisted of a 70 year old, three children and the remainder in their 40's. We left after one hour and it was the kids wanting to leave! We will never be attending such an event again and I am annoyed as so much money was wasted. I spoke to one of my friends after the event, she had also attended, she had exactly the same opinion. Her and her group left after 10 minutes! Ramada has let us down big time, it's such a shame as it is the only decent venue in Wolverhampton. I would normally never give a bad review but I have to be honest so that hopefully Ramada will take on board the negative comments and improve. I really don't want anyone else to have a bad experience like we did.

There needed to be something central to attract the children. It was more like a festival where you had to pay an entrance fee and then when entering you also had to pay for the little that there was inside. There needed to be games or just something to attract the children. I can't put my finger on it but it just seemed like we had just paid to enter a hotels garden. To attract and give a wow factor, factor something within the price to make the children think they are getting something...a show, a performance, something......
