Review of The Open Air Cinema Experience - Frozen

Frozen is the film of the moment for our soon to be three year old. Regardless as to the wind and rain our daughter absolutely loved it and didn't moan once about the weather. Surroundings were perfect and even a warm snack available. Will definitely look out for future events!

Was all going great until the movie cut of 20mins in ,although they tried to kids occupied whilst rectifying problem was just to long to wait with a 3yr old. Food was nice and reasonably priced, was a shame about the movie.

Enjoyed the evening, although a little disappointed with the turnout. Very few there to see the films.... A lot less than the outdoor cinema screening I attended there last summer!

Random mix of people, more lights outside and the music from inside coming out of speakers would have been nice. Instead film finished and everyone left!

Staff didn't have a clue how to make c**ktails, one said "we hope it doesn't get busy so we can go home!" Was charged 5 different prices for drinks.... Staff just really didn't have a clue what they were doing.VERY DISAPPOINTED

Great eve and a good venue. (Sorry biased as I am playing member). Anyway my wife & I really did enjoy the evenings screen viewings.
Just a shame the British weather was not as good!
However, a larger marque for the audience to sit under would of helped ti shelter against the cold.

It felt like my Grans 80th birthday party. It was tiny, like a working mens club function room inside with only 2 proper toilets besides portaloo's. Overpriced drinks in dirty plastic cups. Considering it was supposed to be a Gin festival there were only a few standard gins available. We left after an hour.

Brilliant night, a third film could have worked. Snacks a little expensive for what they were, i.e., £1 for a bag of crisps! Would definitely attend the next one.

We had a great night!
The atmosphere was very welcoming. We were pleased with the amount of food and drinks choice in the tents outside. The food was lovely and felt It was very good for the money!
Good choice of films and a lot of space to find a spot for the night.
We took blank*ts to sit on but a lot of people had chairs and even sleeping bags which I thought was a good idea... especially as it gets a bit nippy as the night draws in!
The little fire in the middle kept us nice and toasty however!

100% recommend this event and hope there is another again soon!

Poor, the screen kept going off. There was a gap of at least 40 minutes when the screen wasn't working and nobody kept us informed with what was going on. It took a good 20 minutes before people acknowledged the issue and apologised. It then went off again before the end of the film so I know a lot of people left because they weren't hanging around, especially S it had started raining. Poor quality food. Staff too just talking to notice fault and sometimes to serve u.

I messaged the company a few days before the event to ask whether I could take in food as my son has dietary requirements. I was told snacks only as strictly no food or drink could be taken in and to see a person on door who would have my name to check my bag. When we arrived people had picnic hampers so we could have actually taken a substantial meal for our son to eat rather than a few breadsticks! The film cut out for around 20 minutes and then towards the end as well and the staff didn't bother to turn it back on. The entertainer was good and the venue was lovely but very overpriced.

The screen turned off at least 3 times. It appeared that some people then left.obviously the film then ran over as it got colder and began to rain. I paid for a baby on a pushchair as there was no guidance regarding this on the booming site, to later find out that they are free!

Friendly on the door nice atmosphere on site food was lovely.
The only down fall was very expensive and about 20 minutes into the film there was a technical issue that took about 20 minutes to come back on but they handled it wel by putting some music on an the entertainment man giving out balloon swords for the kids, about 5 minutes before the film finished there was another technical issue and they didn't bother putting it back on people just started to leave plus it has just started raining would have missed the rain though if the film didn't cut of at the beginning
Overall was a fun day out and I would give it another go had a good day

Great event for families,! Even though there was some issues with the screen they provided entertainment for the kids while it was being fixed! Would definitely recommend and would go again.
