Review of Wheeler Street, 7th Annual Fundraising Black Tie Ball

A very pleasant atmosphere and nicely put together. The venue was attractive and prices at the bar were more expensive than a high street bar, but to be expected for a hotel.

The DJ played music for all ages, but sometimes switched eras too frequently and quickly.

For the meal, the starter - mushroom soup - was absolutely delicious. The main was disappointing as the chicken was bland. The vegetable side dishes were ok though, the potatoes were nicely cooked. Dessert was ok (sticky toffee pudding) , but a little too sweet for me.

The live performances were enjoyable. Especially Miss Aleah, who had a beautiful voice and a lovely vibe.

All in all an enjoyable evening!
