Review of Gin Festival St Helens Town Hall To Celebrate Christmas
My first time at such an event. Enjoyed the immense choice of gins. The amount of food in the VIP section was a bit meagre and poorly presented, but tasty enough though. The complimentary gin glass and guide book were both useful souvenirs. Not as busy as I expected. The Skiddle booking fees were astronomical and not considered good value. Would go again but would prefer to book via an alternative method.

Review of Gin Festival St Helens Town Hall To Celebrate Christmas
Considering this was suppose to be a gin festival, I thought the prices were outrageous! I had just come from the running horses and bought a large Gordon’s Gin and to keep for £4.30! The prices for £6.00 per gin where not the best. Also when I asked the staff there questions about the gin they couldn’t really tell me much - it was like they had rehea**ed a script and only could tell you information about the gin from that. The prices really was too high! Most people had their four drinks and left early! ... however, the food was delicious 😋 and myself and my party really enjoyed this. I would not recommend this to my friends/family and will not be going again.

Review of Gin Festival St Helens Town Hall To Celebrate Christmas
This was our 3rd year attending the gin festival and found that you got less for your money this year. We each paid £55 for the VIP experience (including booking fee) . We reveived 4 tokens... previous years we have had 5 and this year the food was served on a canteen like tray (plates were used in previous years) also last year and year before there was a cheese platter for after your meal. This wasnt included this year. We had a good night as always but may reconsider attending next year

Review of Gin Festival St Helens Town Hall To Celebrate Christmas
The session I booked 2 months in advance was cancelled 8 days before the actual date. I presume because of the Christmas lights switch on. Something that must have been known before tickets went on sale. Absolute joke as my friend had to book the day off for this event. Disgusted!!!!

Lots of good gin to try. The complimentary tasters we're extremely low on the measures. One sip and they were gone! The music was a bit too loud, at times I couldn't hear what my friend was saying who was sat right next to me. The staff were very nice, great service.
