The skating rink was quite small and towards the end of the session was hard to skate on as cut up quite badly. That being said it is a nice event to have as something different to do as a one off but probably wouldn’t return.

Was great for the kids and had everything you needed. Due to size of the rink, the seating area seemed very empty which affected the atmosphere but I guess it was better at night. Missed a trick by not having some Christmas market huts offering more types of food etc. which would have generated more foot traffic and improved atmosphere. Would do it again

Everything was great apart from the rink itself. The ice was churned up, making it really difficult for the kids to try and skate on. Usually this is swept and cleaned between sessions at a normal ice rink. Even with a skating aid the younger child kept falling over, after 10 minutes he just wanted to come off as he was saying it just wasn’t fun. It was really crowded on the rink and he just got fed up of people banging in to him and knocking him over. After 20 mins the whole family was off the ice. Not good for non skaters.

Way overpriced for such low quality ice rink. Ice surface is so wavy and unrideable. Ice skates are torture devices.

I am sorry to write that but it was a bit to pricey for what we got. We went on Tuesday evening and the ice rink was in bad state. To much shredded ice what makes to dangerous to skate. We booked on line and paid extra £6 for booking. So for 45 min we spent £48 for 2 adults and 2 children.

Too many people on the ice at the same time.The bar area was very cold & uncomfortable. The beer was flat & tasteless,nothing like genuine German/Bavarian beer which is full bodied with a nice frothy head.

PS I lived in Germany for 12 years

Great experience for ice skating rink

This has great potential but we were really disappointed. Despite booking tickets online, there were far too many people on the ice which made it impossible to skate. There didn't appear to be any management of numbers (I assumed booking online that numbers would be controlled).

It also finished at a quarter to the hour, without any warnings so my children barely got 30 mins on the ice which was disappointing. It should be advertised as 45 mins and people should be encouraged to arrive 15 mins early to get ready.

Great session on the ice with festive hot chocolate and mulled wine after. Worth a visit over the Xmas break.

Small rink for the amount of users, ice very poorly cared for, bumpy and not cleaned properly or smoothed between sessions. Skates of poor quality and not well maintained. Online promise of good music/do/party atmosphere that didn’t exist.
Definitely would not return or recommend.
