not as advertised. No refreshments available, supposedly sold out with 100 attending, but 30 people turned out to an event which we had been encouraged to take photos at for facebook, though nil happening. Film is a classic and worth seeing, but Flix in The Sticks is much better in every way for only a fiver.

Not having seen Films in a Flash advertised before I was certainly intrigued to spot my favourite film being shown in one of my favourite places in Shrewsbury! Understanding the concept behind Films in a Flash, the semi derelict building within the Flaxmill Maltings provided the ideal setting for showing Blade Runner. Although the advert said to come earlier than the start of the film and to expect volunteers perhaps dressed up in character, this did not occur - but to be honest, that didn't matter - the experience of seeing the film on a large screen in such an atmospheric building was enjoyment enough.
Will be suggesting one of the forthcoming film locations to friends and have signed up to receiving information about events.

Review of 30th Anniversary Screening of Robocop (Cert 18)

I am just going to start by saying this week has been one of the worst weeks for me personally, in a very long time.

The only thing keeping me going has been the idea that I could get to watch Robocop with some friends.

I got to the venue, which was perfect for the film, and just had a brilliant time. It really did cheer me up no end. The atmosphere of the surroundings and being there with fans just make the experience pop all that more. LOVED IT!!

I loved attending and the organisers are just lovely people.
