Review of Sheffield Tattoo Festival
A really enjoyable day - laid well out, great choice of artists, nice food vendors.
All I would suggest is having live music and more spaces for artists and small business owners, as didn't like somewhere you could spend longer than 2 hours

Review of Sheffield Tattoo Festival
I really liked the venue and thought that if you were early enough to get a walk up appointment it probably would’ve been great, however, if you didn’t get a walk up appointment for tattoos or piercing there wasn’t much else to do. I think next time it would be great if there were more stalls selling different things and also perhaps a staggered booking system so you’ve got more of a chance of getting tattooed or pierced if you arrive a bit later? other than that though i’m glad i went!

Review of Sheffield Tattoo Festival
Tickets were very expensive for the limited amount of tattoo artists/stalls available, all tattoo artists were booked up for the full day by 11:20am when it opened at 11am and the whole thing was 30 minutes tops to look around the stalls and there was only 4 food options. It felt too much like they were trying to a combination of peddlers market and a tattoo festival and didn’t do either particularly well, if it had been free entry it would have been fine.

Review of Sheffield Tattoo Festival
It was quite small with only a few artists- (12-15) and when we went on Sunday (though we was assured walk ups by artists) every single booth was booked from people on Saturday and we got there early I really don’t think it’s fair on those who got a Sunday ticket as there was no space for tattoos on Sunday. You go to a tattoo festival in hopes of getting a lil tat. It really put a a downer on the day. The music was really what I’d say was appropriate for the scene and was so loud you couldn’t talk to sellers. I think Saturday would’ve been better but why even sell Sunday tickets if there is no tattoos to be had.

Review of Sheffield Tattoo Festival
I was really looking forward to this event. But unfortunately it was grossly overpriced. After entering, we got a drink and then spent approximately 25 minutes looking at the selling stalls and admiring the artists work (and at work). But then were lost as to what to do. Sit and keep drinking? Iâm all up for that, but felt bitter that I spent quite so much for the privilege. I support the event and look forward to it growing, but theyâll need to lower their prices or up their game for me to consider going again.

it was a good atmosphere and some great artists in. However the artist could maybe have saved a couple of hours in the afternoon for just walk ups, as anyone who came in the afternoon everything had all been booked up in the morning and would have to book for the next day which couldnt work if you'd only bought a day ticket due to work etc.
the shop stands were really cool in the centre and the competitions they had online to the build up of the event kept people interested
