Review of City Beer Festival
Such a shame that there was no cider when it was advertised. I took friends who don't drink ale on the promise that cider would be available. Music in the main room was far too loud for conversation, very limited seating in the other room, and lots of the drinks had run out by the end of the session. The beers available were a good selection and great to see a vegan option for food.

Review of City Beer Festival
Seating area was very awkward and just felt like a conference room with no atmosphere whatsoever. Tickets should have clearly stated that the ‘2 drinks tokens’ were for 2 half pints.

Not good value for money. 2 coupons for 2 halves worth £6. We
Paid £11 . And some beers required 2 coupons. Some beers weren’t available. Service was good but they weren’t the brewers. No information about the beers. One food outlet. No tables to sit at. No dJ. We moved to Rude Giant afterwards to try their beer (which wasn’t available at the festival) and the same band played there afterwards (for free!)

A great first event with excellent selection of beers, well organised. Pricing needs a look at and more seating would have been appreciated.
The outdoor area of the Market Square could have been utilised for seating and better food selection.
Otherwise we will certainly return.
