An absolutely cracking day ! everything was well set out the hay bales was a fab idea and the weather held off too on the sunday we always have a great day . Looking forward to hearing where the next venue will be and the buy it now for the tickets !

Everything was overpriced, the only good thing about this event was the location. Seaton Deleval Hall is is stunning and we got to look around the building and grounds. Other than that, all these food festivals are just full of selfish, pretentious know it all's.

Go every year and this is the first time we have hit bad weather! Unfortunately, it did have an effect on the atmosphere and overall enjoyment as nowhere to shelter

Despite the wet weather on sat, we still have had a good day! We have an appointment to taste different kind of Chillies and we really enjoyed our day at seaton deleval hall.
We need more shelter for this type of weather, especially when you got kids it's awful being outside for that long. The alcoholic drinks were quiet expensive. The bands were amazing! I can't complain the next time we just have to bring our tent with us. Well done to the organiser, you are all doing a great job. We love the Chillies festival and can't for next year!

Was a little wet but the venue was so friendly it made up for it!! Food on offer was inviting and varied.. Would suit all! Even those picky few! Stales sold local produce which is always good to see!! Only improvement I can think of is a low down of what's on where and when.. Would of loved to have seen the chilli eating contest! Will definitely be going back and recommend it to friends!

As always there was a great friendly atmosphere, the food choices were very varied and tempting.
There were the usual rows of stalls mostly selling their own specialised sauces, jams, sausages etc.
Witnessed the chilli eating competition for the first time this year and it was very entertaining.
Hope a suitable venue can be found for future years.

amazing leaving party, many more stalls lots of great music, its a shame it is not going to remain here as its a great venue, but I agree it needs to be in a bigger space. I would like to see somewhere where there is also parking on site then you could go back to the car for things or take purchases back rather than lugging about.

Well well well what a spicy delight! First time visiting the festival and Delaval hall, definitely won't be the last! Amazing friendly atmosphere, beautiful setting, great entertainment, great food and drink, what more could you want!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Fest. Fantastic food vendor selection for eats, seller stalls had an amazing array of goods, tempted into buying plenty of goodies. Great music, cold beer, sun was shining couldn't ask for more! Well organised event and seller courtyard was busy but well set out. Great way to spend a Sunday with the family.

Our first chill fest. So well organised. Park and ride worked for us and our little dog. Great variety of stalls offering good foods and drinks. Good choice of foods for lunch and live entertainment! We will attend another.

Brilliant day out, despite the weather! The stalls were fantastic a huge range catering not just for the chilli lovers but also those of us who can't take the heat! The area was set extremely well it was really atmospheric and the music was great! The entertainment too! My 2 year old loved the chicken and egg and tried to follow them everywhere, he also got to dance with them which made his day! We bought lots of local produce and sampled some amazing food from some of the vendors. We didn't have to queue for long periods of time and toilet facilities were perfect....Even when the heavens opened we just made a dash to the National Trust cafe in Seaton Delaval hall and had a lovely hot chocolate, latte and juice! We were there last year and we will return when the new venue is announced!
