Love this place. Always has the best trance djs. Everyone is super friendly & staff are great if you have a problem. There has been times when certain djs are unable to make it last minute but rong always have a great backup. One big happy trance family in this place

Review of Venus Classics Presents - Paul Taylor
Retro Tastic !! We were looking for somewhere with classic tunes and that classic clubbing feeling.
Omg we found it and more, Many thanks to the team at Venus and Paul Taylor
When we first arrived it was a bit quiet, I thought oh no what have we done, but after about 45mins the place was rammed !!.
The tunes were buzzing, the smoke, the lazers and the Strobe was amazing.
Hands in the air time !!
Thanks to all made a very special night though I was 20 Again !!

Review of rong pres. damaged records w/ jordan suckley, giuseppe ottaviani
Sorry, but I can't be that positive this time. I guess I won't make myself very popular with my opinion but that's not my point anyway.
I've been to Rong a couple of times and every time it was such a blast. This time unfortunately, it was mediocre. Let me break this down:
- Signum was ought to play 3 hours (in room 2, which was shut down for whatever reason, from 1am), in the end he was crammed into the main room lineup & played 1.5 hours.
- Allen & Envy + Liam Wilson ended up with 45 minute time slots. Surely they deserved an hour each!
- Jordan Suckley should have been granted at least a 90 minute set- 60 minutes for the headliner, who also owns the "DAMAGED" label, is simply not sufficient! Not happy.
- how come that James Rigby & Pete Bromage didn't play at all?
- as a result that room 2 was shut down from 1am, the main room was way too packed. I'm not a princess, but if you don't really have any space to dance, it can seriously spoil the experience, also because that's why we went to Rong in the first place. "If you haven't danced yet what the f**k did you come for?!"
My friends & I spent most of the time in the back of the main room or outside in the smoking area (although I don't smoke).
- my friends & me travelled up from London. It was their first Rong and they were not really impressed the way things were handled. They're both experienced ravers.
- I acknowledge that when it comes to events, there might always be some changes on short notice. However it would have been a form of courtesy if the event organiser could have made an announcement before the event that there will be some changes. If that was not possible, then at least an explanation after the event would have been appreciated.
- I guess my expectations were very high, but only because in the past Rong lived up to them. Kearnage in January was beyond fantastic, probably my favourite Rong edition to date.
- now, we're all only human and sometimes things don't go according to plan, I'll remain an avid Rong'un. :)
- I hope that this review doesn't sound arrogant, patronising, demeaning, or anything of that sort. Also, I'm not a person who writes negative reviews. It's just, I love Rong to bits and normally it's my favourite Trance night out in England, but I'm just sad that this time it was far away from it.
- I chose 'No' under 'Would you recommend?' only on this occasion, i.e. solely for this event. Generally, I'd recommend Rong to everyone who loves Trance! :)
- Great job on joining forces with FSOE for their 450th episode celebrations! Very curious about the Rong 6th birthday bash lineup as well.
Greetings from London x

Music quality was for some reason worse than normally in Venus. No "wow" factor as usually, a bit disappointing but keeping faith it'll get back to its good standards!

As usual it was a great night. Best club night in Manchester as far as I'm concerned. Very well run venue, professional staff, quality music and friendly clubbers.
