Review of Soul Purpose presents Gabrielle ‘Acoustically Soulful’

Although our birthday celebration night out was a good one it was probably more down to the fact that we had hired a booth and where ourselves determined to have an enjoyable evening. Firstly, we where more than a little disappointed by the fact that Gabrielle only sang 4. possibly 5 songs and although we where told that she would be starting her performance at 10 to 10.30, she didn't actually start til around 12,15! Possibly a club ploy to sell more extortionately priced drinks. Secondly, there was also an extremely rude and abrupt 'bouncer' which is unacceptable. As well as owning and running a very successful family bar,I have 4/5 family members that work as security staff in both up market and everyday clubs and venues and their policy, and the company they work for on a regular basis, is to 'polite yet determined' at all times. And through experience we have ALWAYS found this to be the best way of resulting any potential situation or problems when they do arise. Would we go back to this club again - probably not.

Review of The British Soap Awards Official After-Party

Dissapointed to be truthful. Considering this event was supposed to be the official after party, I guess We were all led to believe the full line up who attended the soap awards would then all move onto this venue. 18year old stars plus understandably. Only a handful did actually turn up. So really the advert should have described the event as stars attending this venue rather than lead the public to believe they were 'ALL" going to attend. From other punters views they all appeared to have been under the same impression.

200 mile around trip. Disappointed? Very! Ok the venue will probably say we don't know who will turn up on the night? Guess the more sensible maturer celebs knew the Milton club was not there scene. Or at least they went somewhere else to continue there evening or just headed home? Dissapointed and feel taxed! Clubs good tho. Except from the heavily priced drinks and the sax player who in my eyes overstayed his welcome with his all night performance over the top of the RNB the dJ played ALL NIGHT.

disappointed that we got there at 9pm and Gabrielle didn't appear until around 12o'clock. No seats unless you paid for a booth. Bar staff excellent lovely bar but too packed for such a high profile artist. Sorry about that and probably because me and my wife are not young chickens any more so probably not best for a positive review. Thank you anyway.
