Review of When In Manchester Festival #4
A small all day festival over 4 venues in the city centre featuring a wide range of genres via 28 up and coming bands and singer songwriters. Gender diversity is clearly a consideration high on the list of 'must haves' and the superb quality of the acts dispell any inkling that they were booked to fill quota - talent and merit only! The festival ran like clockwork and the distance between venues was short enough to get to each one within a few seconds, in the case of Gulliver's / the Castle and a few minutes, for Peer Hat and Jimmy's. The atmosphere across the event was fantastic. I loved Little Strange, Ryan Jarvis and the Big Peach and was completely blown away by Nova Twins. Can't wait for next year.

Review of The Preston/Manchester Crossroads
Wonderfully curated gig in the tiniest venue in town - great sound management along with nice ales and prices (soft drinks from the tap are a bit like battery acid though!) - gem of a place which is priceless in a homogenised northern quarter of Manchester - seeing a band here should be on your bucket list.
