Me and four mates all payed £22 each for the vip and que jump, when we got there there wasn't really a que to jump wether that was due to the time I'm not sure. The DJ for the night and the staff were all great and the atmosphere and venue were all up to scratch. We all went in cup where it was relaxed and chilled which we enjoyed..The host Pete for the even didn't turn up until half 2 where he was meant to be there at half 12 and no one knew wether we was coming or going. He eventually did turn up and it was controlled well by security and it picked up a bit but because it was so late he came the atmosphere and most of the people had gone. I regret paying the £22 as we didn't need to get past a que and Pete came out of vip so we could have seen him then and at the end they were letting people in even if they weren't vip so there really want much point. Imwe did enjoy the night between us and been coming for many weeks since the event started it still mixed it up, it was just the ticket and the guest that messed it up.

Discusted paid for vip booth it says in the advert you get drinks and entry first no waiting this did not happen . When we finely got in booth told us to come back out not open till 11 even tho advert says 10 then waited all night pete dint come till 3 30 for half hour for pics even yho the advert says hosted by him expected to be sat in vip room with him in it thats why you pay dearer for it. Then they was letting people in without ticket for picture which infuriated me after i paid for the privilege so 4 of us it cost 120 quid to sit behind glass with nothing for that . Then pete left drunk lad came in kicking of started fight i got pushed bruised arm niece got smacked im mouth of this guy. And got her phone pinched this shouldn't have happened in vip area nobody did enything for us was discusting. The place should be sued for false advertising for first impression of the place will not go back . And will make sure people do not get ripped of doing this type of offer again . We should have least got money back fot the poor service we got .120 quid to sit behind glass disgraceful.

Not happy at all! I've been to Birdcage a lot and I know what type of music is played and I always enjoy the music.
I booked tickets for this event as I was hoping for at least a glance of Pete Wicks. Only around 3am did I meet girls who had taken a photo with him and said but he was only in the VIP area!
I didn't buy VIP tickets as I assumed that since he was the "host", we would see him at some point. That never happened.
I had waited a while assuming he would make some sort of appearance for all the other people who had paid to see him. Eventually I asked the security guard on the VIP door if he was going to come on stage and he said Pete had gone already. My friend and I were very annoyed.
Very disappointed with the night!

It was good, quite busy but I am a little annoyed that I payed £33 for tickets altogether and it was cheaper to just pay on the door?? And also that the tickets prices were purely because it was hosted by a "celebrity" but he wasn't there? I am quite annoyed as Wednesday nights are usually my face at Birdcage.

It was both mine and my husbands birthdays and we had arranged to come to the birdcage to celebrate our event with our family and friends. We was also put on the guest list. When we turned up we was informed that we could not come in because it was a students night. I checked with a lady who said that we was down on the list. The man we was speaking to said that this was his event and we was not allowed in. I can only imagine that we was not allowed in because of our ages. 35 and 40. I find this unacceptable given when we looked we can't find anything to say it was a student night on a Friday night. We will not be visiting this place again.

I had fun but my only kill joy was the fact that I had to wait 3 hours before the show properly started. The upcoming artists were not that bad but I did not enjoy their performance. Also I feel the upcoming artist should have performed while we were waiting. As for the DJ he kept repeating songs while there are loads of music to play. Another thing I am not a fan of standing for more than 3 hours for a show and therefore had to pay more than I wanted to so that I could sit. Overall the show was a success. Cheers
