as gigs go this was a diverse mix,
the young female singer did a good job but was a strange selection with what was coming up later
the youngish lad was also a good singer and had a good rapport with crowd
then the main events
never seen thunderf**k and the deadly romantics but have bumped into Bruce a few times when he was working for a few other bands as mc
they were brilliant and engaging and put on an excellent show
cadaver club what can I say just superb shame the rest of there dates are on school nights or I would pop along to see them on rest of tour
the venue itself well its a small rock venue and love these types drink prices reasonable toilets acceptable what more can you ask for ;-)

It was my first time visiting the Retro Bar.The staff were friendly & you were served straight away.The price of the drinks was very reasonable.The gig was excellent we had a very good night out & would certainly go back again

Awesome all day concert. Bands were a mix of different types of rock but all equally as great. Cherry is very talented and organised a wonderful concert. A must for any rock fan

Best Wotgodforgot night ever!

Earthless & Pontiak - best Wotgodforgot night I've been to. The Retro Bar was packed. That drummer in Earthless is amazing and is probably the best drummer I've ever seen.
Looking forward to Oneida and Wooden Shjips.
