festival was great, however people were sniffing drugs all over the place and lots of people had their phones, money and keys stolen.. we saw someone going through someoneâ??s bag and we told security and they just didnâ??t care

Review of Flashback Festival
PRICE - Rip off, having paid 50 odd quid when some of the local hood rats and swamp donkeys paid half price or less through a discount app a few days before the event so the organiser could get feet on grass to recoup their money........
ARTISTS - Missold advertising.... Kevin and perry lookalikes and ramdon DJs playing famous DJs tunes isnt fair and the original clubland stuff was never played at warp speed..
FOOD - Choice of different food vendors.. Fair ground unhealthy food... Paid a small fortune for a half full polystyrene tray of scrag end chips that were cold and dripping in oil
CLIENTELE - Up until 4ish the atmosphere was OK, but when the local not rights, bush pigs, pill heads and self employed drugs vendors started to appear it swiftly went down hill so we left at 8ish, whilst it was still daylight, and saw groups of undesirables hanging round the perimeter wall either trying to get in, looking to throw stuff over or wait on park benches to pick of event goers when it went dark.
POSTIVES - David Pierce was very good, the music coming from the hed kandi area was very good and I would have love to have hung around to listen to Mark Doyle but I couldnt afford to pay more, as the original standard ticket cost a fortune and we left at 8ish because the event got edgey, where not rights were watching others tl steal
Finally it was an experience, never to be repeated but I would go to a more exclusive indoor / outdoor terrace venue with proper toilets, drinks in glasses for a hed kandi lunch / afternoon event
