Sugarhill Gang,
Got there just after 8pm and Mouse Outfit were already on stage. Great sound with plenty of horns and percussion. China white didn't have the best of starts, but they soon pulled that round and had the crowd up for a party. Well worth checking out both of these acts again. Sugarhill Gang came on to a fantastic reception as expected and certainly didn't disappoint. Great selection of tracks, and great atmosphere too. Best night out in a long time.

Top night
I was absolutely knackered when I rocked up at this gig - saw Buraka very briefly previously but really wanted to catch them properly after their incredible Fabric CD... I've gotta say they were everything I'd hoped for! It's not that often you can say a gig was really *fun* whilst at the same time exhibiting technical prowess and a depth of musical knowledge. This one certainly did all that. All this combined with a great crowd (including Strat from Broke'N'£nglish - who are sick by the way) made for a quality night.
Cheers guys

No-Show Face Killah!!
Things took a turn for this one as man with face of ghost got himself denied entry to the country and shipped back to the Americas...
But the band played on! And we had a free party instead!

rhysdavies90@aol.com's Review of Audio Farm presents Derrick May + Shonky Bank Holiday S at Moho Live
An O.K venue not the best and I've been to worse. The music was simply not loud enough, you could speak to each other. Heavily overpriced beer and on door ticket prices. Expect to pay those prices and a lot bigger night. Poor night really.

neilamos's Review of Audio Farm presents Derrick May + Shonky Bank Holiday S at Moho Live
Well my Easter bank holiday week end started off with a bang this year down at the now common farmyard with the Audiofarmers @ MOHO LIVE.
The headline sets to team up with the farmers was no other than Daddy Derek May + Shonky, easily enough for a healthy stampede but if thats not enough to tickle your tail the other shenanigans on offer surely will. If its not the farmyard animal stage set-up that catches your eye, the fancy costumes and the fantastic face-painting will always leave you with something to keep you entertained.
The atmosphere is second to none and with May + Shonky bringing down the barn its something that shouldnt have been missed. So go clean your hooves out and get down to the farmyard for a serious grazing session that will be hard to beat Thursday 30th April!!!
Oink Oink!!!

I'm a fresher at Manchester, so this happened to be my first night out to Moho live, loved it! I have to say it hosted the best djing iv'e heard since being here in September 08. The music was refreshing & i was dancing non-stop. Captured some top class videos of Republic of Swing. Grand night out
