The Manchester Fire House is a stunning venue and this event was a great chance to experience it and get into the Christmas spirit.

My only criticism is that I bought 8 tickets and on arrival I was informed it had changed to a free event. I was told I could obtain a refund but this would not be done automatically and they could not provide a refund on the door.

I have checked Skiddle website but there is no option to obtain the refund. I hope the organisers and Skiddle arrange automatic refunds?

Turned up with tickets - they turned out to be pointless, literally not worth the paper they were written on because it was free entry. Once inside, after all the hype, all it was was a smattering of stalls with an overpriced ice-rink.

This is an amazing and inexpensive night out. Artists battling against each other and the clock to produce an all conquering piece of art as voted for by the viewing audience. The venue changes for each battle, bringing a different atmosphere and surroundings to each art battle. I cannot recommend this event enough. Long may it continue.
