Review of Official Manchester Rum Festival 2019
Awful, such a rip off. Queued for an hour to get in because venue was too small (after buying tickets weeks in advance!), when inside were told to buy drinks tokens for the bar, got to the bar: no c**ktails left! All we could have was rum and pineapple juice in a little cup (tokens were £5 each, and non refundable). This event was a poorly managed scam.

Didn’t get in. Was told to come back when it was quieter, came back after an hour and the queue was three times as long. People were queuing for over 3 hours.
Very poorly managed, no communication. There were two queues, one standard and the other VIP! No one was told where to queue, halfway through queueing they moved the queue!
Apparently the capacity of the place was 300, and they sold over a 1000 tickets!
I want my money back!

Poor lighting and really noisy and cramped in places . Some over inflated prices compared to Stock X . Long waiting time to get in . Needs more vendors and maybe expert talks , workshops ... displays . Ok overall but not as good as I expected
