Review of Club Sanctum
This was our first venture to a club like this, so I have no idea what the club is like on a month by month basis or what it would be like next time as we don’t plan on going again to this venue.
The venue itself was a little interesting, a boxing gym during the day it becomes a fetish club in the evening, there is a boxing ring, a little outdoors space towards the rear and the upper level that serves as a cloakroom. There is no changing room, you have to dress communally on the upper floor or use the toilets, as my wife found out these are not the most sanguine.
The club seems nice enough, though if like us this is your first time and you’re a little shy, don’t expect any real interaction. This can be useful as you can be anonymous and if dipping your toe in the water it gives you the chance to see if this environment is for you. The lady on the front door was helpful for first timers and the guy behind the bar was quite pleasant, the one question I asked a house Dom was answered in a friendly way.
We arrived at around 10:30 and stayed till just past 12, if there’s a group of you then there could be an atmosphere however this is more of a social than a fetishising club, there isn’t a DJ and the music is very low and the lights are on full. The idea of a boxing ring where scenes play out seems like a good idea and one that can allow you to watch what’s going on with ease.
For the price (early bird ticket of £12) it’s worth going to see if something along this line is your ‘cuppa’. We enjoyed the idea but will be move up to a more adventurous club in future, as such Sanctum did what we wanted, allowed s to test the water.

Review of Club Sanctum
Very friendly organisers and crowd, who made me feel very welcome. Ticket and drinks were very reasonably priced and I’d definitely attend the next event. The music wasn’t to my taste, but that’s a minor detail in what was a really good night.
