Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
This event is terribly managed from start to finish. Arrive early to get a wrist band then have to queue for nearly 2 hours for every venue, they need to be more clear that you can’t re enter without queuing again. Bar constantly 8 people deep with only 2 bars staff! Another classic example of a money grabbing company not taking into account how a night should run safely. If there was fire there’s no way anyone would have survived. I’ll be contacting them for a full refund and explanation of why the even was run so poorly.

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
A huge disappointment. As the name suggested I was expecting a night full of disco music. This was not a disco festival but a night of dull generic house music. There was a sprinkling disco and soul music but sadly often ruined by a thudding house beat or gimmicky remix. Some queues were ridiculously long so didn’t get in to see DJ’s I wanted to see. Perhaps they played some disco? I will never know.

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2023
Had to que for 2 hours to get wrist bands and then we had to get them from a different venue. We couldnât get in to see Dimitri - the main reason we bought tickets!
Definitely will not be buying tickets again, I would rather go to Brixton when it is not the festival.

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2019
A little too crowded for my taste - but I guess it happens when at the end of the evening there is only two venues to congregate. What surprised me was 3.60 pounds for a bottle of water, more than spirits with soda!

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2019
My first time at this event which is only in it's second year. Fabulous music and cool venues all within easy walking distance. Friendly, mixed age crowd of Disco 'newbies' and old school soulsters from back in the day. My only criticism is that I bought both day and night tickets, however, as most of the venues didn't open until 7pm, the day ticket was poor value compared to other similar events I been to.

Review of Brixton Disco Festival 2018
Highlight - Joey Negro's set, Nicky Siano's Q&A and Nicky Siano's Hallelujah Choir.
Pros- Mostly well organised, value for money, music and festival content on point!
Cons- Lengthy queues at the venues.
Shame about the weather, but you can't have it all!
Conclusion - See you at the next Brixton Disco Festival!
