This was the most distressing new year's experience ever. As people of colour, my partner and I were the only people in the line-up to have our wallets searched, while none of the white folks in the line were patted down so aggressively. What sort of nonsensical racial profiling is this? There was no re-entry and no provisions for food through the night. The women's toilets were woefully ill-equipped to handle the crowd. The drinks were prohibitively over-priced and the venue seems like an elitist d**k overall...as in, mean-spirited and aggressive. Like, do you get kicks out of mistreating the people who pay you for (overpriced) tickets? Quite shocking. For shame, Hangar. With all of this, the music was repetitive but decent-ish. And the people bar-tending were nice. But never ever EVER returning here.

The worst music in both rooms. People literally stood looking at the djs like “mate, wtf is this s**te?” Also, so much faff on entry after paying for tickets in advance, waiting more than 20 minutes in cold, treated like I owed the damn club something...I just got inside feeling like I wanted to fight someone...not a feeling I usually have, nor the way you want to spend an evening. Especially when then accompanied by a soundtrack of absolute rubbish. How hard can it be to throw a good dance party when everyone is more than ready to dance and get it on?

Two things: bar prices were crazy, £27 for two beers and two G&Ts!!!! But more importantly you HAVE to sort out a baby change! How can you run a baby event with no where to change the babas??!!!

What an amazing idea. All the nostalgia of the old skool days of just having a good time and good vibes. Me and my 2 1/2 year old 👶🏾 are looking forward to tearing some shapes up next time.
