Terrible organisation of international artists. It was impossible to catch them all. Strange choices of artists compared to the marketed demographic. the food and drinks were disgustingly over priced. Selling CANS of marks and spencer mixers £8.50 is just criminal. There lacked clarity of who was on, where and when beyond the instagram post detailing running orders. The layout was badly done and not so easy to navigate.
Though i had fun by my own making. I definitly wouldn't go again.

I would say please plan according to weather as it was definitely the worst day to do it but it can't always be predicted like the day before would of been perfect. The only dampener was the mad rain to be honest. Good vibes and friendly people.

The food is too expensive. Accessibility was still a problem e.g difficult to bring foldable chairs into the venue. Capelton was well worth the money and the wait. More Caribbean branded drinks needed e g. Wray Nephew and Red Stripe. The vibes and people were great.

2023 was certainly better, artist werenon time, no one didn't show up and everything went smoothly. I understand there was rain, but business and the show must go on, we can let things like rain affect the program, as that highlight to attendees to retreat and lose engagement with the event as a whole. The fact Libianca didn't show offset a whole ripple effect and it took people a good couple of hours to build their energy up. Artist need the exchange if they're feeding of the public and vice versa, though one person can't feed thousands all by themselves. If possible in case of weather issues have precautionary steps in place, such as provide either tents, booths selling umbrellas and ponchos, which could ask be another form of income if that's so important to you.

Review of City Splash Festival 2024
Always a fun time at City Splash.
However, food and drinks are terribly overpriced, especially when you attend with Children.
The stage sound systems could have been much better, as we could hardly hear anything at the back of the crowd.
On the plus side, great performances from the artists. Great vibes, even though the whole venue became one massive mud swamp.
Roll on City Splash 2025! Onwards and upwards
