Review of Hackney Reggae Festival 2023
Great music and vibe. Honestly the best reggae festival I've been to in London. No trouble whatsoever, just a nice vibe. Perhaps the ticket price kept some of the idiots out. Love the venue and the way they used it. Looking forward to next year.

From now on you need to put on the posters that children are not allowed in. The 18+ ID REQUIRED was very misleading. It looks like you just needed to have an ID to get in. However when I saw it I sent a text to one of the Dj performing and his reply was: yes accompanied with parents. Unfortunately I cannot find the text to prove that, so my daughter and grandchildren could not get in. We want a refund!

Too expensive for what it was, too crowded, not many vendors for the food, drinks expensive, not able to bring water to the venue, if you are scare of people bringing alcohol or acid, at least create a policy that the bottle of water has to be new and unopened.

Lovely festival we enjoyed. Love Hackney best festival I have been this year, music and vibe. 2 issues, staff at door not consistent with what they allowed and did not allow. E.g bringing in food and drinks. The food stall queue was absolutely ridiculous 1 hour 30mins waiting time, standing in a queue in the heat for food, then told food has run out for the amount of people should of had more food stalls. If you have a no re entry policy and have to arrive by 2pm finishes at 8pm then ensure food is available and easier to access.

Me and my friends had the best time we didn't want it to end. The only thing was the food que was far to long so we didn't bother to eat. Music was very nice can't wait for the next one will certainly bring more friends!!!

Felt a bit dub heavy at times, which is not my type of music but nevertheless really good vibes and A joyful experience for the time that I spent at the festival. Also great to see different generations socialising together.

Bit of a con it did not state you could not take your own food and drink but when I got there I had to throw crisps, water and fruit away as the security said it was not allowed. Overpriced food and drink at the venue.

security should not be going into women's bags to search this needs to be done by a female security, this i was not happy about when i had my personal femininie items in my bag.
Also the drinks selection was terrible.. no proper beer and spirits needs a better selection

Review of Hackney Reggae Festival 2023
The music was excellent and there was a good atmosphere.
Despite this being a ticketed event and what seemed to be several 1000 people present, there were only three food vendors which meant ridiculously long queues. We queued for an hour and we were in the short queue, some other people were spoke with had been waiting for over 2 hours which is ridiculous. There needs to be far more food vendors and some dessert/cake/ice-cream vendors as there were no sweet food at all and in the heat ice-cream would've gone down well.
The food we had from the vegan stalls was very tasty.
The venue is not really big enough to accommodate this type of event because more food vendors were needed and that would've taken more room.
I would not go again due to the long queues for food.
There were no facilities for recycling, everything just got put in the same rubbish containers.
