Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
The Big Christmas Day out was good but we wouldn't go again, our daughter is nearly 9 and we found the activities/rides were too young for her the only thing she was interested in was the aerial/acro display and it was too full for her to see anything, but it was good that with the entry wrist band you could go in the butterfly house and the mini zoo so all was not lost she enjoyed that. It was well promoted and organised but it just wasn't our thing.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Really disappointed with the event. Brought my 2.5 year old and 10 month old. For the money we spent there wasn't actually much going on. Lots of craft tents which were too busy to take part and a total mess.
They enjoyed the hartbeeps and the swing ride but honestly I could have done that any time for much less money. Olafs igloo was a huge let down, not actually anything to do there and it was obvious that it was trying to sound good but have zero budget.
All of the staff were friendly, and the park looked great but unfortunately was style over substance. I paid £8 for two hot chocolates which were described as luxury but were basically hot water with whip cream on top and went straight in the bin. Told all of my friends to avoid and won't book again next year sorry

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Not great value for money. Nothing especially different to do and absolutely nothing for older ones. Ideal for under 7's if they will queue for ages to do anything. It was ok but we won't be recommending or returning.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Was a lovely atmosphere didn't get chance to meet Santa though as tickets sold out.
( Sunday 17th afternoon)
Maybes if the rides were also a bit more spaced out as the queues were a bit confusing.
All in all was a lovely afternoon

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Really nice event. The queues were big for things at certain times. The people working there were really trying hard and making people feel festive and welcoming. The stalls and events were good for the kids who really enjoyed. There was no music but I have to rate it.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Saturday Morning
Absolutely fantastic. Couldn't recommend enough! Cheap enough ticket. All the family went, from 7months old, 10 years to 63years.... Great for everyone. Not too busy. Plenty to do but not too much-no overwhelm. Very tasteful. Once you're in, most of the activities are free: face painting, story making, story telling, olaf, planting a tree/seed, baby sensory area is fantastic, there's arts and crafts and a Xmas Market for adults- Brilliantly priced. 100% would go again!!!

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Saturday Morning
Really lovely morning out in Lancaster again. Not quite as big an event as the highest point in the summer with lots of music entertainment but for our 3 year old the tent with crafts and painting was great, there were entertainers and face painting available too. In the main building hartbeeps had lots of entertainment for little ones, upstairs had story making which was more suitable for older ones( could have done with signposting as climbed all the way up to find it wasn't really for her age group, but her older cousin did enjoy it!). There were a few little fairground rides available within the ticket price too, although she was a bit young to go on them on her own. There were food stalls selling hot dogs, crepes, sweets and pizzas. The only negative I would have is the placement of the portaloos which was near a food area, these would have been better placed out of the way.
Overall really lovely event with scope to get bigger, will definitely want to go again next year.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Saturday Afternoon
After looking forward to our family day out for Christmas at our local park, we decided to take our dog as this is where we walk most nights. When we got there you wasn't allowed to take our dog in, so we paid £22 for nothing, I checked online before hand and NOT ANYWHERE STATED NO DOG ALLOWED, really disappointed considering this is a public park and a lot of dog walkers go to walk there dogs
