Really disappointed with The Big Christmas Day Out! The queues were horrendous and toilets were absolutely foul and the rides were shocking. Definitely not worth the money we spent! We arrived by 2.30 and left for 4pm. I'm absolutely gutted as we had high hopes! If the The Big Christmas Day Out goes ahead again, we will definitely not be going and would advise anyone not to bother.

Complete rip off. Took paid 70 pound to take our grandchildren to this xmas fair. And left after 2 hours of trying to get them on any of the fairground rides. We were told to come back when the queues were smaller. This wasn't going to happen judging by the amount of people there. As far as I could see this was just total greed. Sell as many tickets and make as much money as possible. Why charge the adults 11 quid ? Just to walk round. Not very festive at all. We left feeling robbed.

Unfortunately this had potential to be amazing but with poor structure it was carnage and not very enjoyable for us. The queues for the rides were everywhere no structure or organisation of where to stand and queue. Also so long like over an hour for somethings think my little one got on 2 rides. Facepaint queue was over an hour long. I just think 2 face painters for the amount of tickets sold was not only unfair on them but seemed an extremely expensive day out for what was accessible.

I think this event was best suited to primary age children, there was lots for them to do.I went with my 10 grandchildren age 9mth to 16yr nothing for older ones. But very good value for money for little ones.

I think that the event was a waste of money. Everything was so expensive, there were only 3 rides, for which the queues were too long. The queues for the domes were so long we spent most of the event in a queue. The staff member who was working on the swings was not completing safety checks and was glued to his mobile phone. I paid £4 for a small cup of mulled wine, it was watered down and disgusting and £1.20 for a single mince pie! Our 7 year old was bored, and I feel the ticket price was far too high. I think the reputation of Highest Point was ruined by this event and we would probably not attend another Highest Point event.

We were disappointed as the event wasn't sold as though it's for very small children. We took our 10 year old boys and it wasn't suitable for them at all. The rides were very young kids and there wasn't much at all for them to do. We spent £72 and was there less than an hour. If it was advertised as a toddlers to young children event I would have a very different opinion as it was perfect for them.

There was no music but the rides and other activities were really good.
It was a good value event with lots of freebies such as rides, face painting etc. inside.
Elves were friendly and helpful.
Santa was lovely! I hope it comes back again next year.

The prices for the food etc were expensive but I suppose that is to be expected. It was great the rides and activities were all free but the queues were too big for almost everything. A lot of queuing, especially with small impatient, excited children wasn't the best. Either needs to be less people per session or more of the crafts / tents : rides etc. it was however still enjoyable.

Delayed start, no staff to update guests... could of been so much more better especially for the price... similar price to winter funland (usually attend) so very disappointed in the day... what I will say is all the staff and vendors inside where lovely and we were aloud to see santa before our time slot due to wanting to leave early
