Review of Reggae On The Pier
Worst event I've ever been to.
Sound quality rubbish, couldn't hear the microphones as they kept cutting in and out, £6.50 for a can of lager, £3.50 for a can of c**e, inconsiderate people just walking into and stepping on children, toilets disgusting, queue for the toilets ridiculously long. Staff making up drinks prices to equal whatever they felt like, event started late. Absolute waste of money. Very disappointed, and for a young family who save hard to go to the odd event like this for a day out, you have well and truly ripped us and many others off. Will never return

Review of Reggae On The Pier
very poorly organised, didn't dare have a drink(although to be fair I wouldn't pay those prices)as the queue for the loo's was always at least 50/60 people deep .No where near enough loo's,sound system pretty poor most of the time. Why did I have to be in by 5pm?,the band I wanted to see(the dualers weren't on till 7.30pm)
Why couldn't I get readmitted if I left(to get a drink at a reasonable price)?

Review of Reggae On The Pier
Sound system was terrible, couldn't hear most of the time speakers had blown...roughly 20 toilets for all the people there was a joke, queues were diabolical. And as for £6.50 for a can of warm beer or cider what a rip off when u could see the beers etc arriving from the shop at £5 for four beers and ur being charged £6.50 a can.

Review of Reggae On The Pier
Not enough toilets, spent 3 hours from 2pm just queuing for a drink and toilet. No speakers even near toilets so just standing in long queue. Ended up leaving at 5pm as didn't pay £60 to queue all afternoon. Website advertised could leave and go until 5pm but was told on arrival could not exit once inside. Will be emailing for a refund.

Review of Reggae On The Pier
Second time we've been. Ridiculous queuing 30 mins or more for a toilet, running out of toilet paper. Rules regarding bringing in food and drink....well so many people bought food in!!!! We all had bag searches so how does this happen?? Couldn't hear the vocals from half way back. Apparently an issue with speakers. Won't be going again.

Absolutely rubbish
The worst festival Iv been two.
Not enough toilets.
Not disabled toilets.
Music was rubbish couldn't hear it.
Drinks you needed a mortgage for.
Wasn't aloud to come off the pier to go to toilet. Was told you're not coming back on.
Security didn't care about anything.
Absolute robbery.
Should refund everyone.
Loads and loads left early.
Will never go to a festival again with the group that organised it.
Disgusting all round.

Review of Reggae On The Pier
Sound was very quiet. £9.00 for a single measure of spirit £6.50 for a can of lager. 45 minute queue for a toilet that was revolting. No sound where there were tables to have something to eat, if you could afford it. No atmosphere at all in this area. Had enough by the time the Dualers got started, which is a shame as they did sound really good and the volume was better.

Review of Reggae On The Pier
The VIP section was just a bar and could not cope with the numbers..the queu for the vip toilets was just a long as all the other toilet queue...had to wait 30 mins and no loo paper. There were not enough toilets for the number of people who attended. Had to go off the Pier for loos and people were being told to use the beach. The sound was terrible but it soon got sorted after the audience demanded it be fixed.
Felt sorry for all working staff who did their best to manage a bad situation.
People had come to Hastings from everywhere. I got talking to a couple from Wales....its a shame their experience of Hastings Pier was 3rd rate..gives our town a bad name.
