Oh Gunquit brilliant as ever. King Salami surprisingly good though could reduce the references to sausage. Holroyd Arms very good venue.

If you like GREAT live music, get yourself down to see Smoove & Turrell !!!! Great funky music of the very highest calibre, played by this vastly underrated band. I don't understand how they're not massive, after 7 or 8 top quality albums.

Sorry not impressed as both main bands were changed 24hrs before the event. And not really the same calibre. And not eligible for a refund :-(

Good venue for live music. However, a couple of times now there have been changes to the line-up with no notification to ticket-holders from the promoter or the ticket agency. It is left up to the us to check the venue website and the artists websites/social media to find out if all is well before travelling.

This event was wrongly advertised on Skiddle right up until the day. The groups listed by Club Strychnine were not the groups playing on the night. Had we not contacted a member of the original group advertised to play, we would not have known the event had changed. We contacted The Holroyd Arms to query the event and got a one word reply: "REFUNDED"!!! Very poor admin on their part, which misleads people.

Jah Wobble is a quirky bass legend and lived up to his reputation: testing the mixing desk to destruction in pursuit of BIG bass! The rest of the band were also brilliant and despite doing an encore for over an HOUR we were all left wanting more!! Come back soon lads!
