Class weekend, artists top quality, riverside by night in swg3 was ideal, finished at a perfect time, atmosphere couldn’t have been better, food and drink options where spot on, a wide selection to pick from, free water was a essential with the weather to keep everybody going, will be back next year.

I would give less than one star for every rating. I have been going to riverside for years and this year was terrible. It was clear for weeks that it was going to be a sunny weekend and yet the event organisers didn’t think to create more seating/shaded areas. Also putting larger acts on at the waterside stage was wild, it was packed and frankly quite dangerous. And let’s not mention the sound systems, they were absolutely terrible. The worst weekend at riverside I’ve ever had by far and unless changes are made for next year I will not be returning. Terrible.

Imagine paying for a weekend ticket and 3 of the acts that are basically one after another on day 2 and you just don’t get to see them, your whole day is wasted while your fed excuses. Riverside has changed and lost sight of what it used be and what made it a great festival, I would just completely avoid this unless you want to burn your money for their enjoyment, as the prices for drink and tickets don’t match the service being provided.

45 minutes wait at the bar for an overpriced drink is absolutely ridiculous, and the toilet facilities and waiting times were also quite shocking. The overall heat in the place was intolerable.
Billy was excellent, overall the majority of staff were excellent. Just a shame the negative outweighs the positive overall.
We visited this venue for an Above and Beyond gig and was able to leave much more positive feedback.
