Review of Twisted Fairytale Masquerade
The fairytale theme wasn't clear on the night, none of the people hosting the event were dressed fairytale so it's odd to see they didn't commit to their own theme. The music was very Disney for a while and I doubt anyone requested Justin Bieber - baby
The game was incredibly difficult and caused confusion as one of the props was a mask but being that we all brought masks it was unclear to most what were props and what were someone's belongings (my purse kept getting lifted and moved around as I sat it on the table in clear view as my glasses were inside) the dress code also didn't suggest anything fairytale as the Pinterest and insta pages just showed formal attire and wasn't clear that it was a suggestion if you didn't have a costume. I didn't know there would be food beforehand but what was provided was very little and not much selection. The ticket stated a c**ktail or mocktail was included however I was informed afterwards that the free drink is a soft drink for w the mocktail option. There was also no mention until the draw that costume/game winners couldn't also win the raffle. Overall the event wasn't what I expected and I spent the whole night sat in the corner with the people I came with struggling to hear over the music and having to move our chairs as the photo booth corner was next to us
