Good for younger children but my 9 and 15 year old were bored for the money we paid to get tickets and food we spent over £100 , disappointed. Be better if all ages were catered for. Food was expensive for families.

Entry prices were extremely high to begin with then once entered, it seemed like all food venders had dramatically increased their prices also from previous events. £80 for myself, my husband and our 7 year old daughter and never even stayed an hour - shocking, absolutely no need for the entry to be as expensive!

Went for opening. Was really disappointed in the food truck prices after paying £13 each to get in and also music then for adult evening was kids running about stage with bubbles. Really disappointed so left and made myself better food than I got from the food truck at half the price.

First time so need to bare in mind this was a trial run effectively so my review really is about trying to help get it better next time because the concept is awesome, the venue perfect, just the split of adult children music etc not well defined or promoted to right audience. I live over looking venue so although not at evening events was around and could clearly hear evening music. Not a complaint at all as those of us living local get the benefit and challenges of the bandstand, I choose to see it as benefit. The Sunday which I bought tickets for 3 adults and one 23 month old had a non stop disco and activities for kids, the free tattoo and balloon animals and craft tent as well as motion disco activities were good for little kids less so for older, baring in mind the entry charge was same irrespective of age. Given this and trying to create a more inclusive event I would have a bigger range of activities that parents could choose to pay for and a lower child entry fee. £14 per adult and £8 per child before any food really does limit your footfall to those who can afford it and even 2 adults one child that's a big chunk of cash when you know you will also be purchasing food. The food trucks were amazing as always with a great range of options and the food was reasonably priced for quality. Again though around £10 per head minimum. We all know the cost of living issues so the vendors have no choice. For a family day you are getting close to £100 and that will limit your market. I was happy personally but heard lots of really negative comments re cost. I was also there on Saturday night and it just didn't have that festival vibe, music, bar whole thing a bit flat, my guess is marketing to right audience went a bit wrong. I could have been on Friday as a guest as the organisers sent flyers to locals offering free entry which was kind but as I was going twice that would have been overkill. Generally love the concept but audience targetting and entry costs need tweaking. Maybe offering family tickets or setting peaks on sliding scale? So more for evenings cheaper at 2pm on the Friday? Overall with the little one on Sunday and my family we were there about 3hrs as little kids get overwhelmed with noise and activity and it cost circa £100 without drinking any alcohol. I get the cost of putting these things on, safety licences etc but to generate footfall and therfore atmosphere I think a review could make this a real "must go" thing.

I actually feel like asking for a refund for our money due to the fact we essentially paid £35 to gain access to buy things at vans and stalls. The only things 'included' seem to be a temporary tattoo, balloon animal and the plastic string bracelet my daughter made at the 'craft' tent. The entire thing was woefully depressing and I still have no idea what we actually paid for. I have paid the same, or less in some cases, for events where you are provided with so much more. In fact, my local community runs a summer festival each year where entry is free but there is entertainment, balloon making, face painting, food included with your pass as you enter, pony grooming and the only places you have to pay were buying at the stalls. To think that a community like Coatbridge can arrange all of that while an event you pay for in Glasgow was a disgrace is really shocking.

I hope that no-one wastes their money on this in future as I know we won't.

Good event, good venue, but price to get in was far too steep. Not even a discount or free drink to with the cost of ticket. Food and drink options were awesome but again pricey!

The music while I was there on the Sunday was for children hence the slightly lower score. The food was great and good choices available and the venue lent itself to this type of day out. The stalls selling other goods were varied. It was well organised for getting tickets scanned and really the only downside was the weather not staying dry long enough - sadly out with your control. Would definitely go back next time.

Ridiculously over priced for what it was. Compared to similar events/venues nothing included in the price. Would select a different similar venue in future which has a better atmosphere and more for your money. Would say the atmosphere was maybe affected by the weather which isn’t anyones fault.

The event is steeply priced at £15 roughly for what was offered in return.

The set up didn't offer a massive range and this sort of event is easily accesssible for free throughout Glasgow.

I thought for the price there would've been a better variety of entertainment and emphasis on more street food.
