Arrived at 9.30pm and it was very quiet. The band hadnt started and it looked like most peope were eating. More restaurant than new year party atmosphere. It may have improved but we left after one drink.

Had a fabulous time at Boteco I go there a lot throughout the year anyway. Music and atmosphere was amazing. GreAt atmosphere will definitely be back for New Years 2019

I came to Glasgow on my own and booked this event for New Year’s Eve.. it was the best choice I made! I had the most epic night of my life! The music was brilliant, was dancing from start to finish.. I will definitely go back!! Met so many fun people,didn’t feel like I was on my own at all! I love everything about this place! I love Scotland have been visiting every year but now I know exactly where to go for a good night out! If u love Latino and Latino vibes.. you gotta go here! No doubt! Best New Years ever!! Thank you to everyone !! Xx

My boyfriend and I had an amazing night, everyone was so friendly and welcoming!! We made some great friends and learnt some salsa moves! Only down side was we thought there were meant to be performers however didn’t see any, but didn’t dampen the night in any way! 💃🏼

I really enjoyed the night but have to say there should have been more bar staff on that night. I waited one hour on drinks and some people in the queue were becoming really impaitent pushing others and being rude. The price for the tickets were amazing and the staff are always so lovely too. I personally just think there was too many people there that night.

way too crowded serious safety hazard with all those people. Men groping left right and centre. Queued 45minutes for a drink!! horrible night out for young people

The worst place to celebrate

Waaaaaaay too many people to enjoy. It was impossible to leave jackets after 10.30pm and que to the bar was about 20 minutes wait. Dance floor was so packed all we could do was just dance in place,constantly being pushed by others.
That was first and last time I spent Hogmanay in Boteco.

Enjoyed very much. The singer was very good. I know the band and they always deliver. It was over crowded and not much space to dance. The price of the drink was a festive price and was quite high. They need more cloak space. We were OK, but there were customer complaining which led to a long ques at the cloak. But over all, fab night.

Really fun, alternative option to a traditional NYE. Everyone really seemed in the Latin spirit! Only downside being speed of getting served was poor, but somewhat to be expected on Hogmanay.
