Review of Scotland v Australia - Pre-match Brunch
We arrived and sat at a table, after 30 minutes we were asked to move to another table at the back of the room as despite there being no reservation sign on the table we were told it was pre-booked.
Imagine my surprise when 4 friends I know eventually sat at the table where we had been and when chatting with them I said we had been sitting at their booked table, so I was a bit taken aback when they said they hadn't booked a table !!
The event was timed for 11 am to 1.30pm. so at 1 pm when we were told we would have to leave because the table was booked for someone's lunch, to say we were taken aback would be accurate, we had pre-booked a minibus to pick us up at 1.30pm !! so only 30 minutes of a difference but enough to make us feel a problem to be dealt with rather than paying customers.
I had 3 clients with us in a party of 6, needless to say, I won't consider going back as I felt what was, on the whole, a good venue and well hosted with the Q and A was ruined by the points mentioned above.

Good venue but the event wasn't worth buying tickets for. Wasn't exactly as advertised then they changed the times at the last minute. Also wanted us to leave before the match started! We did get that sorted. Could have just walked in without tickets

The venue was nice, service a bit slow, but most of all they charged us for all the food and beer even though we had pre-bought tickets which gave us food and a couple of free drinks - we didnt notice until we left. Doubtful that we will go back.

Table service food and drink were great - the thumbs down is that effectively premium ticket price as includes Q&A - could have just booked a table for lunch and had wider choice of food and drink for a similar price. Also only allowed the table for a short while as another booking at 3:30 therefore had to head to the match then and not see any of the Q&A with Ally.
