Review of Chargecandy at Download Festival
The charge unit was bulky and never came with a carry case. Year before with music angel the charging device was more compact and came with a carry case you could wear around your neck with a lanyard. Far more convenient.

I absolutely would not recommend this phone charging facility, as when I went to reading festival they had a charging stall for £20 (cheaper than download) and you could swap the chargers as many times as you wanted during the festival. It was a shock when I found out the prices AND the rules.

Review of Download Festival 2018
First visit as I wanted to see GnR who did not disappoint. There was a friendlier atmosphere that I am used to at festivals with the music taking center stage. Liked the layout and discovered a few new bands I will look up again- will be back!

Review of Chargecandy at Download Festival
Got to download on Wednesday, me and my mates went to pick up our chargecandy's and was charged the extra £10 deposit (which is fair enough, I got a that back) and my mates had died within an hour and only charged 40%, mine was on the 3rd bar within 5 minutes and lasted about 1 hour 30 minutes, charging my phone to about 67%. We assumed that it would be because of it been half of a day that everyone was there, which proved not to be the case.
Over the Thursday/Friday between three of us only one of them charged more than 50% meaning that we all had to share one.
On the Saturday within an hour of collecting my charger it had died and only charged 30%, I had to go tell a member of staff at the arena in which he seemed a bit puzzled by it, reminded me that it is only a supposed to be one a day but under the circumstances he let me use another which charged around 75% which I was great, on the Sunday I got a charger that actually charged my phone 100% and more. I wouldn't be too fussed but the charger says it holds 4400mAh my phone is 2700mAh which means I should get well over 1 full charge. I paid £18.95 + £10 for something that didn't do the point of it been there, it would've been a lot more easier to just bring a load of them myself.
