Review of Drum & Bass Awards 2017
First DnB Awards I'd been too but have been to lots of other music stuff so can only compare from them. Loved the place but the toilet ques were stupid! 30/40 min wait, the tick*ts were only on 2nd Release so I dread to think what it would have been like if sold out. Loved the walzers and dodgems, was great fun! Drink prices were average, normal for this sort of thing. Sound was crap, really tinny at times.Must say staff were really friendly, not your typical grumpy security, they were helpful and looked to be having a good time. Only thing thay did annoy me was the £10 car parking, there was nothing anywhere about it, no signage. Some bloke just came to all the cars and made us pay, not sure if scammed or not! Thanks for a wicked night!

Amazing gig. Decent bar set up and sound was awesome.
One problem with the venue - the ladies loos were a joke. Spent a fair chunk of the night waiting for my missus to queue up for a wee!

Review of Drum & Bass Awards 2017
Amazing night with an incredible line up, but the sound system in room 1 didn't do the acts justice. We expected the type of bass that would cut right through you, but standing half way back (near the sound desk) the volume and bass was so low that you could barely hear the music over the MC's. Regardless of this, it was still an amazing night!

Review of Drum & Bass Awards 2017
Poor sound ruined the evening, levels were all over the place, even MC's were looking at each other and shaking heads.
Very expencive parking concidering it was just in a muddy field. Good acts once inside and friendly staff helped but overall not impressed.

Review of Drum & Bass Awards 2017
The night for me was a little odd, we didn't get much info beforehand so was unsure what was really happening. I only knew the set times 15 minutes before High Contrast was playing because I spotted a girl on her phone looking at them. The venue would have been perfect if it was arranged differently, it was far too big and having the main stage next to the massive smoking area doors which were wide open meant I was unable to keep warm. We were not aware clockrooms were going to be available or that it was going to be so cold or we would have brought our winter jack*ts!!
The music was absolutely on point...however metrik at 9?! Just when we were getting into the night and its broken up by the awards. The awards should have been done at the start not half way through the evening, there wasnt enough hype around them so the vibe was lost and after that I struggled to get back into the groove.
