Review of WHY?CON - Bakewell Comic Con

I was very disappointed with the amount of stalls walked all the way around in less than 10 minuets. It was mostly second hand jumble sale items. My husband said it’s the worse one he has ever been to. Thank goodness Bakewell is a beautiful place for a walk around or we would have paid parking for less than 10 minuets.

Very small and not really worth it even for the 15 pound I paid. Nothing there, children very disappointed to say the least and all over in 20 minutes if that. I understand the venue being smaller so not as much there but come on it was just ridiculous, and there was no music or atmosphere.

Given the relative small size of the venue, i was surprised by how much they packed in! The stalls were great with friendly people and a nice mix of items, from figures and POPs to hand made jewelry as well as some fantastic artists selling prints. The Guests were incredibly nice and fun to talk too and it was great to meet them all.
Finally the Cosplayers! Can hardly forget them can we? All were brilliant, friendly and polite and happy to pose for shots even in the hot weather we had on the day :) All in all i really enjoyed myself and will be back for the next one!

Our grandson (Logan age 5) was awestruck at seeing his favorite comic book heroes especially when his all time (at the moment) favorite Bumblebee (who he had cos played as) appeared. To the point that they asked if he would go outside for some more pictures and he very happily walked off with them (grandma and grandad keeping a close eye on him) He had a brilliant time and we loved watching his excitement at it all.

Didn't quiet know what to expect after visiting larger con's. Small venue, friendly people and stall holders, general good vibe in atmosphere.
Needs more exposure in the "comic con" circles. We found flyer at Sheffield arena Yorkshire cosplay con.
