Review of SMiLE Festival
Had I realised when I purchased the tickets that there was only a few picnic benches available and no camping chairs allowed I wouldn’t have wasted my money. I’m suffering today from trying to sit on the grass. When I saw security let some people have a chair I asked and was told I couldn’t have one. We decided I would have to leave. On exiting I spoke to another member of the security team and they got me a chair. Sadly by this point just as Sandi Thom started my pain was too much and everyone kept standing in front of me so we left missing The Proclaimers which was the whole reason of attending!!! Such a small venue with plenty room I could see no reason why chairs weren’t allowed. The majority of the people attending seemed to be 40 upwards !!

Review of SMiLE Festival
Excellent small/intimate festival. Only problem was the bar.Good prices and service but queue was bad, waited over 40 minutes for drinks on 2 occasions.A number of people were ordering multiple rounds when served.Other than this great day for a good cause . Thanks to all involved.
