Review of WITHERED HAND

I heard Withered Hand probs about a year ago, loved their music and then, by pure chance, saw they were playing in Cardiff the night I was staying with a dear friend. I have also heard them recently on 6music. Dan Willson sings the most amazing lyrics, No Cigarettes is a favourite, but his new songs are refreshing in an often bland variety of humdrum nothingness from others. I picked up tones of Neil Young and James. Such a great evening. I hope Dan fixes up a slot on the Pyramid stage soon. He and his band could knock spots off some of the other performers. I'll keep my fingers crossed. In the meantime... Thanks Dan, loved the Moon and see you on the Glasto lineup one day.

Review of The Spring Big Bash - Indie Vs Alt

A good gig night and well done to the headliner, Seew**d - they were a confident and tight act. It was nice too that the venue, the moon and the promotor, Up to 11 were a friendly mob.
