Review of Queenergy at The Maltings, Ely

Venue was all wrong! Would have been much better to have been all in the floor standing or with the large round tables they have there. It was hard to dance on the area where the chairs are. The backdrop to the band was just boring no razzle dazzle!! No decent lighting no flashing lights. Just not impressive. Band was brilliant though and lead singer had a brilliant voice. Shame there were about 4 songs in the set I had never heard, would prefer all the top hits!

Their performance and portrayal of ‘Queen’ was brilliant, especially as the band has only been playing together for a couple of years.
