Review of Saffron Fest Presents Family Fun Day
Such a shame that the whole weekend was seemingly massively mis-sold. Even my 7 year old said of the Sunday fun day - "its not much fun". To be told that I would have to pour away any drinks we had with us (and dispose of or eat any food prior to entering) was unbelievable. There was one food truck selling over priced food (not the gourmet vendors, plural that were advertised) - meaning that we would have had to leave the site to eat as the kids were not interested in anything being sold had we not managed to hide food throughout our kids buggy,,,. The saving grace was the fact that the bouncy castle man paid no attention to how long kids had been in despite the price of £4 being for 10 minutes or £7 for unlimited. The "Acid Men" wandering around seemed a little inappropriate considering it a family fun day...... all in all, a very disappointing experience, only made ok by the fact that it was free - albeit it wholly inaccurately marketed.

Review of Saffron Fest Presents FABBAGIRLS, PAT SHARP + MORE
Arrived about 7:15pm and it took nearly 45 minutes to get in! Ridiculous as there was only about 30’ish people in front of us?! The Queen tribute started whilst still waiting to get in approximately 7:40pm
Ridiculous set up, organisation and total lack of communication.
At the entrance people were then told don’t bring your own food and drink in Had this been made clearer, we may not have waited so long to get in whilst people had food and drink taken away.
Then to add insult to injury, it was made vertically impossible to obtain either once inside!!!
You were expected to queue to purchase tokens to exchange at the bar. This entire process was beyond a joke taking over an hour in total. There was a only 2 staff working the bar area and very limited alcohol stock. Only one food vendor on site so again the queue and wait was stupid.
A member of our party gave up after waiting nearly an hour and still not served. So many people were just walking out!
Pat Sharp was one of the joyous parts of the evening but he seemed to have been put on late. He even commented that he was supposed to finish at 10 (having only been on stage about 20 minutes!). He carried on (another 2 tracks) and I saw a crew member come on stage to ‘shut him down’.
Having successfully whipped the crowd in a party high, it then took over 20 minutes to get the FabbaGirls on stage (it was about 10:30pm by now).
We were need RUSHED through a medley of Abba hits at a speed that left us dizzy. It was like listening to a Stars on 45 mix tape on the wrong speed! There was zero time for any audience interaction. Except for being asked if we were gagging for an encore!!!
A visit to a portaloo in the darkness, summed up the organisational skills of this event nicely 💩
The acts were great but very badly let down by piss poor timing and event organisation, who should be held accountable for such a bad job!!!

Review of Saffron Fest Presents FABBAGIRLS, PAT SHARP + MORE
Unfortunately the organisation if this event was overly complex and frustrating. Whoever thought a “token” system was wise should have thought that through. We queued to get in then queued to buy tokens (card only) only to have to queue again for drinks and food. One person serving behind the bar. No Prosecco left by 8pm! Only one food vendor who was completed overwhelmed and overpriced!!!
The music and Pat Sharp were fab however the Queen tribute act barely had anyone taking any notice as the audience were still queuing around the venue to get their first drink…. Seriously guys this is your job - think through the consequences of these bright ideas. If it was a no cash event that you wanted then just make it cashless cards only…. Real shame.

Review of Saffron Fest Presents Family Fun Day
It was lovely event but I would not recommend because it was ridiculous that no food or drinks were allowed in. It’s a family event! You don’t go to events with children and not bring any food or drinks. Prices were extremely high even tho food did look good. So many people turned around after finding out that no food or drinks were allowed. But I did enjoy the day and stayed till the very end but.

Review of Saffron Fest Presents Family Fun Day
Very poorly organised event.
Family fun day - but not allowed to bring in food & drink. Many kids have dietary requirements, gluten free etc but there were no options for these children.
Unable to buy coffee / tea... Just alcohol, diet pepsi and extortionately priced water in plastic bottles. Not environmentally friendly either.
Will not attend again.

Review of Saffron Fest Presents Family Fun Day
Venue Opened late and film started when we were in the queue despite us having arrived early.
No food or drink was allowed in the venue (this has not been communicated)
We had a full picnic with us for our young children to enjoy and couldn’t take it in
Two cans of drink cost £5 which is excessive
Review of Saffron Fest Presents Family Fun Day
Poorly organised. Disgusting at the fact no food or drink was allowed to be taken in. Considering the cost of living rising and this was meant to be a free event. Families like myself cannot afford to buy exspensive food at the venue.
